Can you smell it?

 

Propane smells like rotten eggs, a skunk's spray, or a dead animal.

 

If You Smell Gas...

 

    1.  SHUT OFF THE GAS AT THE TANK.

 

    2.  LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY!

 

    3.  REPORT THE LEAK.

 

    4.  DO NOT RETURN TO THE AREA.

 

    5.  GET YOUR SYSTEM CHECKED.

 

Symptoms of CO poisoning:

    -  Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue, Shortness of Breath, Nausea

 

You can't taste or smell CO (carbon monoxide), but it is a very dangerous gas produced when any fuel burns.  If you suspect CO is present, please act immediately and call 911.
